Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) - Electrophysiology Tech

EP Lab Scrub Tech

Schedule: 10-hour day shift from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with one day off during the week. May require occasional late stays to complete cases.

Assignment Details: Contract length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Electrophysiology.
• Experience with pacemakers, ablations, Watchman devices, Laser Lead Extractions, and Stimming.
• Preferred: 2 years of experience in Cath/IR and Electrophysiology; RNs with Cath/IR/EP scrub experience are welcome to apply.
• Licenses/Certifications: ARRT or RCIS or RCES; ACLS and BLS certifications.
• EMR experience with EPIC.
• Must be nicotine-free.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in Electrophysiology procedures as a scrub technician.
• Prepare the necessary equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment during all procedures.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Adhere to all protocols and guidelines as required by the facility.

Compliance / Notes: Orientation will include two days at the initial facility and additional training for the specific location. Credentialing requirements must be completed by the specified deadlines.
