Position Responsibilities Regulates access to the premises by monitoring the comings and goings of staff, visitors, and other individuals to deter theft and prevent unauthorized entry. Acts promptly in response to alarms and dispatch notifications, analyzing the situation and choosing an appropriate response in line with available information and authority boundaries. Carries out routine surveillance of facility buildings and surrounding grounds to detect any behavior or conditions that may threaten the safety or security of the Medical Center. Enforces facility rules by issuing warnings and, when required, detaining or escorting individuals from the premises, using physical force only when justified. Qualifications High school diploma required. Possession of a valid Florida Driver’s license with no more than 4 points. 5+ Years of previous security experience prior experience in law enforcement / military preferred.
