What you will be doing: You will be the F-35 Organizational Maintenance Optimization (OMO) Systems Engineer Asc- Level 1, and will be an essential part of identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and implementing maintenance plan changes that will increase the Organizational maintenance capability while improving aircraft availability and reducing life cycle costs. Desired skills

• Private or military aviation experience focusing on core maintenance, sustainment, and engineering concepts • Previous F-35 program experience. • Low Observable, Structures and Crew escape maintenance concept experience. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve complex system issues, performance bottlenecks, and integration challenges within a fast-paced environment. • Experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and the application of Agile principles within a systems engineering framework. • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent industry/technical experience desirable but not required

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $60,200 - $106,030. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible.
