Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager supports store operations by ensuring a clean, organized environment with a focus on customer satisfaction. Under the Store Manager's guidance, they supervise staff, manage merchandise presentation, handle administrative tasks, and assist with financial processes to maximize profitability and reduce losses. Key Responsibilities: Deliver excellent customer service and operate cash registers. Assist with employee scheduling, training, and safety meetings. Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, and display according to planograms. Maintain accurate inventory and control damages and markdowns. Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, key control, and cash handling procedures. Support store management in the absence of the Store Manager. Qualifications & Skills: Effective communication and problem-solving abilities. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to interpret safety and operational documents. Mathematical proficiency for cash handling and reporting. Knowledge of cash, safety, and facility control policies. Experience in retail and supervisory roles preferred. Working Conditions: Frequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 40-55 pounds. Use of equipment like scanners, pricing guns, and carts.
