Software Dev Manager - AWS IAM, AWS Identity -IAM Control Plane

We are looking for a strong Software Development Manager to lead a team responsible for core IAM components - Resource Tagging, Sharing and Access Management.- Manage a team of SDEs building foundational IAM components- Own the technical direction for core IAM components - Resource Tagging, Sharing and Access Management.- Drive cross-team collaboration across AWS organizationUtility Computing (UC)AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.Key job responsibilities- Defining and delivering on long-term product and architecture strategy for Resource Tagging, Sharing and Access Management.- Executing against project plans and delivery commitments; Managing day-to-day activities of the engineering team within an Agile/Scrum environment - Recruiting, hiring, mentoring, coaching, retaining and performance management for a best-in-class engineering team.- Communicating development, quality, operations, and system performance to senior leadership- Ownership and continuous improvement of all operational metrics and automation tools for your team’s software.About the teamAWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) is used by all AWS customers to secure their workloads in the cloud by providing scalable, resilient, and highly available authentication and authorization mechanisms. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
