Job Title: Paralegal - Bankruptcy, Foreclosure, & Creditors' Rights Location: Portland, Oregon Schedule: Hybrid (3 days on-site/2 remote after training) | 37.5-hour workweek Salary: $80,000-$90,000 Employment Type: Long-term contract (anticipated 1-year assignment with potential for extension) Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with a well-established, mid-sized law firm in downtown Portland is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy, Foreclosure & Creditors' Rights Paralegal to join its growing commercial practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience handling bankruptcies, foreclosures, and collections who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents related to bankruptcy, foreclosure, collections, and creditors' rights matters Manage case files, court deadlines, and filings in Oregon and Washington Support attorneys throughout the lifecycle of matters while ensuring accuracy and compliance Coordinate with legal assistants and communicate professionally with clients, courts, and third parties Qualifications 3+ years of paralegal experience in bankruptcy, foreclosure, creditors' rights, or collections Knowledge of Oregon and Washington court procedures Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal software Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain a high level of accuracy Experience with Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac foreclosure processes preferred Paralegal certificate or formal paralegal education preferred Benefits Hybrid schedule available following successful completion of training Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees, with dependent coverage available Employer reimbursement of the majority of the annual medical deductible 401(k) with Safe Harbor contribution and profit‑sharing opportunities Paid vacation, sick leave, floating holiday, and paid holidays $100 monthly transportation stipend Employee referral bonus program and long‑term service recognition program Employee wellness resources, appreciation events, and community involvement opportunities Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short‑term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
