Territory: San Mateo County: Redwood City* What you’ll do: Provide skilled services to assist patients with breathing, speaking, and swallowing functions in partnership with the case manager. Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and fluency disorders that affect communication. Serve as an educator, patient advocate, and member of the interdisciplinary care team. To be a success: Current unrestricted CA Speech Therapist License. Current BLS/CPR Certification. Valid CA Driver's License. Knowledge of individual development and human behavior in relation to illness/injury, and influence of culture on healthcare. Knowledge of state and federal home‑care regulatory guidelines preferred. Experience in home health care highly preferred. Experience with high acuity patients is a plus. Experience working with an interdisciplinary team highly desired. Case management fundamentals highly desired. Self‑directed, empathetic, critical thinker with outstanding interpersonal and leadership skills, organized. Will complete a computer literacy and competency assessment before in‑person interview. Compensation: $110,000 - $125,000 a year. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements. We offer a generous bonus incentive plan, comprehensive health benefits, and a 401(k) with up to 4% match. Note: You will be assigned a primary location; however, you may occasionally be asked to provide coverage outside that area for vacancies, leaves of absence, higher patient census, or other client care needs.
