Join our vibrant apartment community as a Maintenance Technician, where your skills and enthusiasm will keep our residents happy and our property in top condition! This energetic role offers the opportunity to perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment for all residents. You’ll be instrumental in troubleshooting issues, performing repairs, and maintaining the overall functionality of our facilities. Your proactive approach and technical expertise will help foster a welcoming community that residents are proud to call home.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on building systems, appliances, plumbing, electrical wiring, HVAC units, and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Conduct repairs and troubleshooting using schematics, electrical experience, mechanical knowledge, and tools such as ohmmeters.
- Complete residential painting projects and minor carpentry or drywall repairs to uphold property aesthetics.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including landscaping, cleaning common areas, and ensuring safety compliance.
- Assist with vendor or contractor work when necessary, demonstrating leadership and customer service skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance within residential or manufacturing environments.
- Ability to operate tools and equipment safely while adhering to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination.
- Must have experience in apartment maintenance, including light electrical, plumbing, interior and exterior apartment repairs.
- Must be available for on-call; live within 45 minutes of the community.
- Must have a valid CA Driver License and auto insurance
- Must pass a criminal and DMV background check.
