Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced respiratory care to pediatric patients, ensuring compliance with therapeutic protocols.
• Administer treatments, monitor ventilators, and assess patient response.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to plan patient care and treatment strategies.
• Maintain thorough documentation and patient records in the Epic system.
• Conduct patient and family education regarding respiratory care procedures.
• Participate in emergency response teams as required during hurricane season.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist with pediatrics.
• Current RRT certification with BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
• Experience with Neonate, Infant, and Pediatric Critical Care.
• Licensed as a South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider; NBRC certification accepted.
• Preferred experience with the Epic charting system.
• Availability to work a 4x12 night schedule, including rotating holidays and every other weekend.
