As a candidate, you are encouraged to ask compensation related questions and have an open dialogue with your recruiter who can provide you more specific details for this role.Line of Business: AuditJob Description: The Audit Director, Business Functions and Data Management is responsible for overseeing, planning, executing the audit activities for data management and application technology coverage for Consumer Banking, Commercial Banking, Wealth Management, Shared Services, and TDS for all TD Bank US Holdings segments and entities.Depth & Scope:Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as requiredDesigns, plans & executes Audit Plan for coverage of data governance and data management, and technology and business risks associated with US applications and automated controls for client facing areas including consumer bank, commercial bank, wealth management, shared services, and TDSEnsures appropriate applications technology and data coverage of the US including involvement in other audits to ensure US coverage is adequately providedWorks with the enterprise audit teams to ensure alignment where applicableResponsible for the broader Division mandate to contribute to a strong control cultureDevelops & maintains strong relationships with key stakeholdersStaffs the function with appropriately skilled individuals and augment with SMEs where necessaryAttracts, develops and retains key talent, making audit a great place to workDevelops a risk-based Audit Plan & delivers the plan evenly over the course of the yearEnsures quality of work meets division standardsIdentifies all significant control gaps in areas we auditProvides clear, comprehensive and timely reporting on significant control mattersManages financial budget within plan and riskEducation & Experience:Undergraduate degree required; Post Graduate degree preferredProfessional Accreditation such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)12+ years related experienceWorking knowledge of and proficiency with US regulatory requirements and expectations related to technology and dataPrevious experience establishing a best-in-class technology audit team in a large complex financial institutionWorking knowledge of data governance and management frameworks and practicesFamiliarity with application processing, business processes, and application controls related to consumer banking, commercial banking, capital markets, wealth management, payments, and operationsFamiliarity with enterprise programming languages (e.g. Java), scripting, CI/CD, Microsoft Azure, web application architecture, data analytics is a plusStrong people management skills with demonstrated experience in leading high performing teams, proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse group of professionals, the ability to effectively work in teams across the bank with multiple stakeholders, and to influence and align othersStrong collaborator who engages colleagues, business partners, external stakeholders, and employeesStrong presentation and facilitation skills and strong interpersonal and leadership skills to facilitate working with senior management at all levelsProven ability in leveraging deep subject matter expertise to align teams to a central vision, while also listening and engaging others to provide input in the shaping of that visionSkillful communication (written and verbal), negotiation, and partnership skills to balance stakeholder input but remains objective to reach the right outcome - ability to stay resilient under pressureDemonstrated relationship building skills; able to make things happen through the use of positive influenceExpertise in working effectively in teams – requires a track record of working cross-organizationally and with multiple stakeholders at varying levelsWho We Are:TD is one of the world's leading global financial institutions and is the fifth largest bank in North America by branches/stores.
