Aerotek is hiring for a Industrial/Commercial Electrician

Shop located in McKees Rock, PA work within a hour radius | $25 - $35/hr WEEKLY PAY

• Monday through Friday (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
• Travel from our shop in McKees Rocks directly to local job sites OR report directly to site.
• No seasonal layoffs or unstable project schedules

As an Industrial/Commercial Electrician, you'll play a key role in installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading electrical systems in manufacturing and commercial environments.

Responsibilities include:

• Installing EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit systems
• Pulling wire and cable through conduit and cable tray systems
• Installing and wiring panels, disconnects, transformers, switchgear, and lighting systems
• Wiring receptacles, switches, occupancy sensors, and emergency lighting
• Reading blueprints, electrical drawings, and schematics
• Performing startup, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical systems
• Troubleshooting motors, motor controls, and production equipment
• Installing and replacing VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)
• Building and modifying control panels
• Installing power distribution systems
• Performing preventative maintenance and diagnosing electrical failures
• Working on conveyors, pumps, compressors, and automated manufacturing equipment

• Minimum of 3 years of industrial and/or commercial electrical experience
• Strong conduit bending and installation skills (EMT, rigid, and flex conduit)
• Experience with control wiring and machinery installations
• Ability to interpret electrical blueprints and schematics
• Experience working with low and high voltage systems (120V, 240V, 480V)
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Valid driver's license

• Experience in food processing, steel, bottling, canning, manufacturing, or heavy industrial environments
• Familiarity with PLC systems and automation controls
• Experience installing and commissioning AC drives
• Previous experience leading projects or running jobs from start to finish

This position involves hands-on electrical construction and service work in active industrial and commercial facilities. Work may be performed both indoors and outdoors. Electricians work independently or alongside experienced teammates while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and craftsmanship.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greentree, PA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
