Product Design Lead

About the role As the Product Design Lead for Rednote, you will shape the look, feel and experience of our mobile app. From creator tools, to the home feed, to the profile - you will touch and lead the design on just about everything mobile here at Rednote. You are not just a strategist, you're also a doer and have no problem rapidly prototyping new concepts as user feedback and product needs shift. You will partner with our creative team, product team, and community and culture team to define needs of users, concepts for unique experiences in the market and consumer strategy. You're a big picture thinker that can get down into the details of pixel perfection - a perfect combo for people who love strategizing, making and building. Key Responsibilities Create, build and ship beautiful product experiences for our mobile app Work with our product lead to align on roadmap, design expectations and engineering needs to support your designs Work with C-Suite and leadership stakeholders on visual and experience strategy Rapidly prototype new designs as we iterate, we move fast here at Rednote and encourage experimentation and flexibility Find new ways to innovate in the consumer app space - what should exist on community and social apps that doesn't yet? Ideate, create and iterate screens for our mobile app Qualifications: You have at least 6-8 years of experience in product design You have at least 3-5 years of experience designing for consumer mobile apps You have a Bachelor's design, HCI, engineering or UX or equivalent relevant work experience You are a self starter that thrives in autonomy and is comfortable running with large scope You have experience working in fast paced environments with tight deadlines and innovative products rednote is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
