Medical Records Reviewer

This position will be responsible for the care of all university athletic equipment, uniforms, and related items including but not limited to ordering, inventory control, disbursement, collection, laundry, and repair of common items for all sports.

Major Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teams to manage purchasing, inventory, tracking, distribution, and care of athletic equipment and supplies while staying within their respective budget
• Oversee laundry services for all athletic teams
• Responsible for all aspects of equipment room staffing
• Ensure proper fitting and maintenance of all sports equipment including helmets and pads to provide a safe environment for student-athletes as per AEMA guidelines
• Accept and distribute incoming deliveries
• Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 1-2 years of previous equipment experience
• Athletic Equipment Managers Association Certification
• Knowledge of sporting goods industry and products
• Strong organization skills

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

• This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phone, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
• This position requires manual dexterity, the ability to lift files and open filing cabinets.
• This position requires sitting, bending, stooping or standing as necessary.
