Employment Type: Contract (Maternity Leave Coverage) Position Overview Our client is seeking an experienced Contract Recruiter to provide maternity leave coverage and support full-cycle recruiting efforts across multiple business functions. This role is ideal for a recruiter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships with hiring managers, and can effectively manage multiple searches simultaneously. The successful candidate will play a key role in attracting top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process. Key Responsibilities Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from requisition intake through offer acceptance. Partner closely with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, develop recruiting strategies, and provide market insights. Source, screen, and interview candidates using job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, networking, referrals, and other sourcing methods. Coordinate and schedule interviews while maintaining consistent communication with candidates and hiring teams. Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs. Extend offers and assist with the pre-employment and onboarding process. Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system (ATS). Ensure an exceptional candidate experience through timely communication and professional follow-up. Track recruiting metrics and provide regular updates on hiring progress. Support multiple openings across various departments while meeting hiring deadlines. Qualifications 1+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a corporate or agency environment. Experience recruiting for a variety of positions across multiple departments. Strong sourcing skills, including experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruiting platforms. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills. Ability to prioritize multiple requisitions and work independently in a fast‑paced environment. Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. Professional, proactive, and customer‑service oriented approach to recruiting. Preferred Qualifications Experience recruiting within the transportation, logistics, manufacturing, or operations industries is a plus.
