Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to join their team. As a Cost Accounting Manager, you will be part of the Finance department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Tipton, PA

Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

What's the Job?

• Maintain and improve the company's cost accounting system to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, overhead, scrap, and landed costs.
• Establish and monitor cost standards, investigate variances, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present cost reports, financial statements, and support month-end closing processes.
• Develop financial models and conduct cost analyses to support decision-making and operational improvements.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting, or related areas.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Syteline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting, and U.S. GAAP; CPA preferred.
