Merchandising Intern - Les Extraordinaires Fall 2026

Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a curious, motivated, and detail-oriented Merchandising Intern to join our Les Extraordinaires team in New York City. This internship is designed for students who are looking to gain hands‑on experience in luxury merchandising while building practical business, analytical, and cross‑functional collaboration skills. The intern will support merchandising strategy and business performance for exceptional product categories, including Exotics, Home (Objet Nomades), and Hardsided Trunks. Through analytical projects, product launches, reporting, and partnership with teams across the business, the intern will gain meaningful exposure to luxury retail, merchandising operations, and client‑centric business strategies. Job responsibilities Key Responsibilities Assistinmaintainingmerchandising reports, dashboards, and business recaps to analyze sales trends and support merchandising decisions. Support seasonal product launches by creating product knowledge tools, collecting retail feedback, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyze sales performance, inventory movement, and product assortment opportunities across Les Extraordinaires categories. Conduct competitive and market analysis toidentifyindustry trends and business opportunities within the luxury sector. Support preparation for buying meetings, product presentations, assortment reviews, and showroom activities. Coordinate sample tracking and organization for merchandising and training purposes. Partner with retail teams to gather qualitative feedback on product performance and client demand. Assistwith ad‑hoc reporting requests, business analyses, and executive presentation materials. Participate in team meetings, producttrainings, store visits, and seasonal merchandising reviews. Collaborate cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Retail, Visual Merchandising, Client Development, Retail Learning, and Finance teams. Learning Objectives Develop a comprehensive understanding of luxury merchandising and buying processes. Gain exposure to Les Extraordinaires product categories and related business strategies. Build analytical skills through sales reporting, KPI analysis, and business performance reviews. Learn how merchandising teams partner with retail and operational functions to drive business results. Strengthen communication, organization, and project management capabilities within a fast‑paced luxury environment. Develop an understanding of product lifecycle management, assortment planning, and launch execution. Profile We welcome applications from undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a degree in Business, Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain, Retail Management, Marketing, or a related field. Candidates should bring curiosity, a willingness to learn, and an interest in luxury retail, fashion merchandising, craftsmanship, client experience, and consumer trends. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working with data, is comfortable using or learning Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and is interested in strengthening analytical, problem‑solving, communication, organization, and project management skills. The team values a proactive and collaborative mindset, attention to detail, adaptability in a fast‑paced environment, and the ability to contribute positively to cross‑functional partnerships. Previous internship or relevant work experience is welcomed but not required. Compensation Undergraduate Interns will be compensated at: $20/hour Graduate Interns will be compensated at $25/hour Criteria Currently enrolled undergraduate/graduate student pursuing a degree in related field of study Able and willing to work at assigned location or able and willing to relocate to NYC We welcome candidates that can commit to a full‑time basis for up to 37.5 hours per week from September 2026 to December 2026. Legally authorized to work in the US This position requires 4-5 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan.
