About the Position

Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Devils Lake , North Dakota . This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive, low-volume critical access hospital setting.

Assignment Details

• Start Date: ASAP
• Duration: 13 Weeks (through August 2026)
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts (Day/Night rotation)
• Preference: Strong preference for night coverage

Facility Details

• 8-bed Emergency Department (newly remodeled)
• Critical Access Hospital
• Average 20+ patients per day (mixed acuity)
• Support staff includes:
  • RN Emergency staff
  • 24/7 Radiology
  • Lab technicians
  • Hospitalist available for admissions

✅ Requirements

• Board Certified Physician (MD/DO)
• Specialty: Emergency Medicine (IM/FM with strong ER experience may be considered)
• Required Certifications:
  • ATLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • NRP

Compensation

• Competitive locum tenens hourly rates
