About the Role

The Company is in search of a visionary Chief Development Officer (CDO) to spearhead a significant growth strategy, with the goal of expanding its revenue from $90 million to $150 million and beyond. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and executing a comprehensive capitalization plan that aligns with the organization's mission of advancing economic mobility through technology training. This role demands a systematic builder with a proven track record in nonprofit fundraising, capable of translating mission-driven outcomes into a diversified funding strategy. The CDO will be at the forefront of brand mobilization, mission integration, and enterprise-scale growth, and will serve as a key public representative, engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including donors, corporate leaders, and institutional funders. Key responsibilities for the CDO include designing and managing a balanced revenue portfolio, leading a high-velocity relationship management strategy, and expanding the organization's reach into new philanthropic and investment communities. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years' of progressive nonprofit fundraising leadership experience, a history of securing transformational gifts, and a deep alignment with the values of the organization. They should be adept at building and leading high-performing teams, and have a strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to foster a culture of innovation and ambitious goal-setting. Experience in workforce development, education reform, or related fields is highly preferred, and the role requires exceptional communication skills to effectively convey the organization's mission and impact.
