Purchasing Coordinator
$22 - $35 per hourManpower
Our client, a leading manufacturing company , is seeking a Purchasing, Tool Crib & Supplier Coordinator to join their team. As a Purchasing, Tool Crib & Supplier Coordinator , you will be part of the Operations and Supply Chain team supporting Production, Maintenance, Tooling, and Supplier Relations . The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, effective communication skills, and mechanical aptitude which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Purchasing, Tool Crib & Supplier Coordinator
Location: Grafton, WI
Pay Range: $22/hr to $35/hr
What's the Job?
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to prevent production interruptions.
- Purchase tooling, MRO supplies, consumables, PPE, and operational materials while maintaining cost controls.
- Create, issue, and track purchase orders while ensuring compliance with purchasing policies and approval processes.
- Communicate with suppliers regarding pricing, lead times, product availability, deliveries, and issue resolution.
- Maintain inventory, purchasing, and tool issuance records while supporting continuous cost-saving initiatives.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, ideally within die casting, machining, tooling, maintenance, or MRO inventory.
- Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with inventory management systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal teams and external suppliers.
