2nd Shift Optical Test TechnicianGranby, CT, United StatesPrimary Duties & Responsibilities· Work per standard operating procedures in Testing Optical Fibers· Document the manufacturing process as required· Perform basic equipment maintenance & calibration· Assist recommending solutions to technical problems· May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment· Assist engineers as needed· Cross-training in other areas as neededEducation & Experience· High school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years experience in manufacturing / lab environmentPrevious experience or practice executing delicate tasks with small, fragile parts· Computer literacy including data entry in Excel· Ability to see details at close range· Excellent hand to eye coordinationSafety RequirementsAll employees are required to follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp.
