Position: Electrical Technician / Wire Assembler
Location: Frederick, MD 21704
Shift: 2nd (2:30pm - 11:00pm; Monday - Friday)
Pay: $22.50/Hour

Job Summary of the Electrical Technician /Wire Assembler:

This is a hands-on position. This position integrates electrical components, subassemblies, products, or systems into various configurations by performing the following duties in reasonable & productive time frames.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Must be able to read a tape measure to 1/8th inch.
• Must be able to follow verbal, written, and pictorial instructions.
• Must be able to use hand tools.
• Mounts and assembles electrical components such as transformers, contactors, relays, controllers, etc. displaying knowledge of good practices in workmanship and wire routing.
• Assembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications for the Electrical Technician / Wire Assembler position:

• 2 years of Hand tools and power tools experience
• 1- 3 Years of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and understand English Instructions.
• Ability to speak effectively with employees of organization.
• Ability to do basic math in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position.
• Ability to reach, stool, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb and balance.
• Ability to heavy lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
• High School Diploma or GED Work.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to pass a drug test.
