Join Team Omni today! SUMMARY: Analyzes and interprets existing job order design specifications to prepare CAD and BIM shop drawings of windows, curtains walls, store fronts, aluminum composite metal panels and other glass related structures Essential Duties and responsibilities:Provide project managers and estimators with innovative solutions to meet project requirementsDesign and calculate tolerances and thresholds for load bearing structuresPrepare CAD files for CNC machines for aluminum composite metal panel production.Communicate with project managers, estimators, contractors, vendors, architects or other individuals to ensure accurate interpretation of blueprints and spec sheets and to resolve any concerns. Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Ability to read and understand blueprints.Previous architectural drawing experience desired.Strong attention to detail.AutoCAD training required. Experience with Revit preferred.Experience with Excel, Word and Outlook. Knowledge of Excel formulas and macros a plus.Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) a plus.Understanding of commercial construction methods and techniques preferred.Experience with manufacturing processes such as fabricating and machining a plus.Must be able to meet the attendance requirements.Ability to work professionally with others.Able to follow instructions Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
