Recruiting ManagerThe Recruiting Manager is responsible for proactively identifying, engaging, and building strong talent pipelines for critical roles across the organization, with a focus on field operations, project management, logistics, and skilled trades. This role works closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and the HR team to understand current and future hiring needs and uses strategic sourcing methods to attract both active and passive candidates. The ideal candidate is resourceful, data-driven, and skilled in utilizing various sourcing platforms, job boards, social media, and Boolean search strategies. This position not only actively sources, but also interviews and leads the new hire process from the initial job requisition to the date of onboarding. This position manages the person in the Recruiter position. This position also leads all training initiatives for both new hires and current employees.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Partner with recruiters and hiring managers to define candidate profiles and sourcing strategiesIdentify qualified candidate profiles using various sourcing techniques (e.g., Boolean search, resume databases, social media)Conduct outreach campaigns and craft targeted messaging to engage passive candidatesPromote BlueTeam's employer brand across social media, professional networks, and recruitment channelsBuild and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needsManage and update candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (Paycor)Track and analyze sourcing metrics, such as conversion rates from outreach to hireLeverage internal and external networks to generate referralsCommunicate with past applicants regarding new opportunities and maintain ongoing engagementConduct reference checks on selected candidates as neededInterviews and selects top candidates to present to hiring managersConducts wage surveys and does analysisSeeks out and participates in both internal and external recruiting events and initiativesAttends job fairsConducts job fairsManages the RecruiterOnly utilizes outside recruiters as a last resortPrepares reports and metrics on employee and recruitment metricsLeads all aspects of trainingLeads and conducts all aspects of the new hire process to include, but is not limited to, offer letters, background screens, drug screens, and new hire paperworkSupervisory Responsibilities:YesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in human resources management or relevant field3+ years of experience in a sourcing or recruiting role, preferably in construction, restoration, or a skilled trades environmentProficiency with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, ATS systems)Strong communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to prioritize and manage multiple sourcing projects in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with Paycor or similar applicant tracking systems a plusLanguage Skills:Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.Reasoning Ability:An ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete and abstract variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.Physical Demands:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
