Sales Support Specialist (Commercial Lending Assistant)

First Citizens Bank has an incredible opportunity for a Sales Support Specialist (Commercial Lending Assistant). We are hiring banking professionals who have had proven success in their past careers, are self-motivated, and possess strong relationship building skills. This role is an integral part of our team, partnering with Commercial and/or Business Banking groups in the sales, servicing and management of clients and loan portfolios. Loop 1604 W. in Shavano Park 5500 Bee Cave Road in West Lake Hills 4101 Marathon Blvd. in Austin Responsibilities & Qualifications Duties & Responsibilities: Service Standards - Foster collaborative partnerships that deliver value for customers, prospects and colleagues. Initiate conversation to uncover sales or referral opportunities. Listen attentively and ask insightful questions to understand customer needs and preferences; and take prompt actions to address immediate needs. Proactively look for way to optimize performance by seeking coaching, supporting Bank initiatives and leveraging tools to enhance activities. Operations and Administration - Comply with all regulations, bank policies, procedures and delegated authorities to manage risk related to credit, operational, reputational, regulatory and legal aspects of personal interactions, customer transactions and financial exposures. Complete required training by established deadlines. Perform general office management duties as assigned to ensure operational efficiency. Associates in roles defined to take deposits are accountable for transaction accuracy and operational efficiency of that function. The results may include an accountability for individual contribution as well as team performance. Qualifications: Basic Requirements : High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of experience in sales or lending support OR Bachelor's Degree with experience in sales or lending support Additional Skills and Experiences : 4+ years of prior experience in banking, ideally in Commercial Lending Support Strong working knowledge of the loan documentation and loan closing processes Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, strong computer skills, and an ability to learn banking systems Highly organized with a strong attention to detail and an ability to multitask Professional written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with bankers and other internal partners Ideal candidate will have experience with: Title documentation Life insurance Deeds of trust U.C.C. filings Mortgages Assignments of rents Surveys Ordering Appraisals Environmental reports Tax returns and supporting documents PLEASE NOTE: There are no remote capabilities for this position at this time.
