Enter and update data into department databases and record management systems Verify accuracy of data by reviewing correcting and validating information Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for department records Process incident reports inspection records and personnel documentation Assist with data cleanup and quality assurance initiatives Prepare routine reports and summaries as requested by supervisors Respond to data inquiries from department staff and authorized personnel Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive public safety information Collaborate with team members to meet data entry deadlines and priorities Perform general administrative and clerical tasks as assigned Identify and report data discrepancies or system issues to management Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent Strong attention to detail and accuracy Proficiency in data entry and typing with speed and precision Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel Outlook) Ability to learn and adapt to new software and database systems Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Ability to work independently in a remote environment Reliable internet connection and suitable home workspace Understanding of confidentiality and data privacy practices Prior experience in data entry or administrative support is preferred Familiarity with public safety or government record keeping is a plus
