Business Analyst

Job Description

The Business Analyst (BA) supports mission critical DoD and government software development efforts by driving early stage requirements analysis, stakeholder engagement, and documentation in accordance with federal and RMF compliance expectations. The BA collaborates closely with Product Owners, System Security Engineers (SSE), Cybersecurity teams, Developers, QA, and government stakeholders to ensure functional, security, and compliance requirements are clearly defined before development begins. This role is essential in ensuring traceability from stakeholder intent to system implementation — including the incorporation of cybersecurity controls aligned with DoD, NIST, STIG, and RMF standards.

Skills and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT/IS, Computer Science, or related discipline OR equivalent experience. • 2+ years as a Business Analyst, Requirements Analyst, or similar role in Agile environments. • Experience with DoD SDLC processes, Agile methodologies, and government stakeholder engagement.
