Property Manager

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our multi‑family properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a customer‑focused approach, and a comprehensive understanding of property management practices. This role requires effective communication and relationship‑building skills to ensure tenant satisfaction and property upkeep. Responsibilities Oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the property, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Fair Housing regulations. Handle tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner. Market and advertise available units to attract potential tenants. Screen and select qualified applicants for tenancy. Prepare and execute lease agreements and renewals. Collect rent payments and ensure timely payment from tenants. Coordinate maintenance and repairs with vendors and contractors. Conduct regular inspections of the property to ensure it is well‑maintained. Qualifications Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred. Knowledge of property management principles and practices. Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and Fair Housing guidelines. Strong organizational and multitasking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software. Ability to effectively negotiate contracts and resolve conflicts. Knowledge of facilities management and maintenance procedures is a plus.
