Job Description Why This Role Is Different Estimators arekey decision makers, not just number crunchers Estimators contribute early to project evaluation and bid strategy, helping determine which opportunities we pursue Our estimating team focuses onthoughtful, high-quality bidsrather than volume Diverse commercial and light industrial construction projects. Estimators remain involved after award, working closely with project management to help ensure projects are set up for success What You'll Do Review plans, specifications, and bid documents for commercial electrical projects Perform detailed takeoffs for labor, materials, and equipment Develop accurate project estimates and competitive proposals Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor pricing Identify scope gaps, risks, and value engineering opportunities Coordinate with project management for smooth project turnover Track bid results and refine estimating strategies What We're Looking For 3 or more years of electrical estimating experience Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications Working knowledge of the NEC, NFPA 72, and other buildingcodes. Experience withTrimble Accubid Anywhere Estimating & LiveCount, BlueBeam and Microsoft 365 Strong analytical and communication skills Preferred Journeyman electrician background Commercial construction estimating experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Professional Employment Group of Colorado
