Registered Nurse - Nurse Educator

Job Summary:

The Nurse Educator is responsible for developing and delivering educational programs for nursing staff to enhance clinical skills and knowledge. This role ensures adherence to nursing standards and promotes ongoing professional development within the healthcare facility.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Design and implement educational curricula for nursing staff based on clinical best practices.
  
  
• 
  Conduct in-service training sessions and workshops to improve clinical competencies.
  
  
• 
  Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and update content accordingly.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with clinical leadership to identify training needs and tailor educational strategies.
  
  
• 
  Maintain documentation of training activities and individual competency assessments.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid New York State RN License and possess at least two years of Med/Surg experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate a solid clinical background in nursing practices.
  
  
• 
  Possess an Associates Degree (ASN, ADN) from an accredited Nursing Program.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current AHA BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit strong communication and teaching skills.
