Travel Nurse RN - Med Surg / Telemetry - $2,171 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Towson, Maryland.

Job Description & Requirements

MS Tele RN-Ortho - Days - 36H
2YR experience required, must have general surgery/ortho experience w/ strong skills; will accept first-time travelers
*HARD STOP - STRONG ORTHO, Post-Op surgical experience required*
Patient Age Range: Adult, Geriatric; Adolescents with a tanner score > 4 can be prearranged to be admitted here.
Special Equipment on unit: IV, PCA, PCEA, Capnography, wound vac
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Surgeries include but are not limited to: Complex total joints, cervical and lumbar spine fusions, foot and ankle, head and neck, colorectal, hepatobiliary, urology, and GYN surgeries

EKGs, Telemetry monitoring capable; RN should know rhythm basics.
Unit uses HCHAPS, White Boards, Bedside shift report, zebra phone and tiger connect secure text messaging for communication.

Floating: within MS/T specialty and lower acuity as needed
Weekends: Every other weekend
Holidays: holidays required as they fall, as scheduled

License/certs required: MD RN, BLS, ACLS, NIH, CPI
