About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Capital Markets to join their team. This executive role is pivotal in expanding the company's relationships with hotel owners and investors, with a focus on positioning the company as the preferred choice for managing acquired properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining quality relationships with a diverse range of active hotel investors across North America, including institutional owners, private equity groups, REITs, family offices, and debt funds. The role also involves serving as the primary point of contact for negotiating with new buyers to retain the hotel management contract when properties within the company's managed portfolio are sold. Applicants for the Vice President of Capital Markets position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry. The role requires a deep understanding of hotel investment, ownership, and operations, as well as fluency in debt and equity capital structures, financial and operating statements, and legal and ownership structures. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, commercial, and negotiation skills, and be adept at managing multiple projects under pressure. A strong work ethic, dedication to achieving results, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential. The role also demands extensive travel and a flexible work schedule to accommodate business needs.
