Manufacturing Engineering Technician

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support semiconductor wafer fabrication and sensor manufacturing operations in a highly regulated production environment. This individual will serve as a primary technical resource on the manufacturing floor, supporting semiconductor assembly and build processes, equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and manufacturing process improvements. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment, strong electro‑mechanical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work cross‑functionally with engineering, quality, and production teams to maintain equipment uptime and process stability. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for semiconductor wafer fabrication, sensor manufacturing, and production assembly/build processes Troubleshoot and maintain complex mechanical, electro‑mechanical, semiconductor, and electro‑optical equipment to ensure equipment uptime and process stability Perform preventative maintenance (PM) and support repairs on high‑vacuum and specialized semiconductor manufacturing equipment Generate, update, and maintain equipment operating procedures, manufacturing work instructions, and related production documentation Support equipment failure investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous process improvement initiatives Assist with the design, development, qualification, and improvement of manufacturing tools, equipment, and processes Work cross‑functionally with manufacturing, process engineering, quality, and design engineering teams to support production goals and compliant builds Support capital equipment procurement, installation, startup, testing, and qualification activities in a regulated cleanroom manufacturing environment Effective written and verbal communication skills are absolutely required for this role.
