Our growth and success are due to our dedicated tribe, and we value integrity, creativity, and innovation.What You Will Be DoingSupervising production teams in the absence of the Team Leader to ensure safe and efficient operation of production linesLeading and driving a team in a manner consistent with Ziegenfelder ValuesSupporting Safety, Quality, and the Operation Teams to produce and package quality Ziegenfelder treatsEnsuring that environmental and safety expectations are followed during the shiftVerifying production paperwork to confirm completion and accuracyUndertaking proper corrective/preventative actions when there is a safety, quality, or defective product eventFunctioning as an Operator on days the Team Leader is presentCompleting the production dashboard in the absence of the Team LeaderFollowing all GMP and SQF procedures and practicesAssisting in the training of new personnelEnsuring quality standards of products are metAssisting Maintenance to ensure machines are in proper operational conditionWhat You Will NeedHigh school diploma or equivalent required1+ years of experience in a management or leadership role, preferably in the food manufacturing environment1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment highly preferredAbility to motivate and lead in a fast-paced environmentMechanical or operational background is a plusPhysical AbilitiesStanding up to 8 hours per dayBending, twisting, reaching, and grasping actionsGood spatial awareness working around manufacturing equipmentMay need to exert up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally, up to 30 lbs. of force frequently, and up to 10 lbs. of force constantlyMay need to climb, balance, stoop, crouch, reach, stand, push, and pull frequently during a shiftWorking ConditionsMay be subject to noise above 85 decibels with proper protection equipmentSchedule40 hours per week with set days off (Dayshift Shift – 6am-2pm)BenefitsBegin after 60 days of employment401(k) with company matchingPaid holidaysWho We AreThe Armstrong Group is a family owned and operated collection of diverse companies.
