Overview To provide high quality echocardiograms for interpretation and diagnosis by a Pediatric Cardiologist. Responsibilities Perform Pediatric Echocardiography on patients in age from newborns to adults Provide care with consideration of patient?s age, diagnosis, psycho-social characteristics and family stressors that affect ability to understand or retain instructions. Maintain service excellence in all aspects of echo lab operations. Maintain efficient operations of the Echo Lab Demonstrate commitment to teamwork and learning Participate in performance improvement activities designed to improve patient care and/or organizational processes Qualifications HS diploma or equivalent 5-7 years experience pediatric echocardiographic imaging with documented experience in a pediatric tertiary facility may be accepted in lieu of a degree One of the following required upon hire: Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDCS), Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer Employees must obtain Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDCS) or equivalent within 365 days Employees must obtain Registered Congenital Cardiac Sonographer or equivalent within 365 days Current BLS certification Required Upon Hire Benefits at Children's Mercy The benefits plans at Children’s Mercy are one of many reasons we are recognized as one of the best places to work in Kansas City. The pay range for this job begins at $34.90/hr, but your offer will be determined based on your education and experience. Remote Work/Work from Home This position is not eligible to work remotely, which means that the person hired will be required to work onsite at one of our Children’s Mercy locations and may not work from home.
