Entry Level Machinist

Job Summary We are seeking motivated and driven individuals wanting to gain valuable experience in a manufacturing environment. This is primarily a training position that helps you develop the skills needed for becoming a professional machinist. Responsibilities Perform simple machining tasks while progressing to more advanced level machining. Use precise measuring tools to ensure exact specifications. Read and interpret blueprints to determine machining requirements. Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machining tools and equipment. Work overtime when required, including weekends. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow all safety procedures and protocols. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills / Qualifications Accurately perform mathematical calculations. Mechanically inclined. Ability to read blueprints. Manual dexterity required. Experience / Education High School diploma or GED. Background in a manufacturing environment a plus, but not required.
