Medical-Surgical Nurse

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) unit
• Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and adapt in fast-paced patient care situations
• Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to diverse Med-Surg patient populations
• Monitor, assess, and report changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, perform wound care, manage IVs, and provide pre-/post-operative care
• Collaborate closely with physicians and allied healthcare professionals to coordinate treatment plans
• Educate patients and their families on medications, procedures, and self-care techniques
• Ensure accurate, timely charting and compliance with facility policies
• Uphold safety standards and infection prevention protocols

$1,912 - $2,081/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
