Job Title – QA Specialist - II
Location – 2355 Utah Ave., El Segundo, CA, USA, 90245
Duration – 06+ months contract
Pay Range – $40 - $44 USD hourly on W2
Schedule: Monday–Friday; weekend/night support may be required during manufacturing campaigns.
Job Description:
We are seeking a QA Specialist II to support Quality Assurance activities and ensure compliance with quality objectives and applicable regulatory requirements in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide QA oversight and approval of deviations, OOS, change controls, CAPA, and EV records.
- Ensure investigations and quality records are properly initiated, investigated, escalated, and resolved within established timelines.
- Support resolution of product, manufacturing, environmental, facility, equipment, and material issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve deviation and CAPA processes while maintaining compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support additional quality activities as needed.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree; or Bachelor’s + 2 years; Associate degree + 4 years; or High School Diploma + 5 years of relevant experience in biological sciences or a related field.
- Strong understanding of GMP requirements , including U.S. and EU standards.
- Quality Control experience in analytical, virological, or microbiological testing is preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related applications.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
