Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on Med Surg units, including patients with urology, gynecology, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT vascular needs.
- Perform comprehensive assessments, administer medications, monitor vitals, IV therapy, wound care, and post-operative care as appropriate.
- Document care and interventions accurately in the electronic health record (EPIC); ensure timely charting and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians, case management, and ancillary staff to coordinate admissions, transfers, and discharge planning; provide patient and family education.
- Maintain patient safety, infection prevention, and quality of care standards; respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed.

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia; Nursys license verification required.
- Minimum 2 years Med Surg RN experience.
- EPIC electronic health record experience required.
- Ability to work the 2x3 night shift in a hospital setting.
- Work history/profile with no gaps greater than 60 days; provide references and certification card as part of onboarding.
