Overview

Responsibilities
- Provide bedside nursing care for Med Surg patients across units such as urology, gynecology, orthopedics, medicine, surgery, trauma, ENT, and vascular
- Monitor patient status, perform assessments, interpret findings, and respond to changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders, ensuring safety and accuracy
- Document care and clinical updates in the EPIC EMR, including accurate nursing notes and timely charting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, participate in rounds, and support discharge planning and patient education
- Uphold infection control standards, patient safety protocols, and quality measures during all shifts

Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia; Nursys license verification
- Minimum 2 years of Med Surg RN experience in relevant specialty areas
- EPIC EMR experience or demonstrated proficiency with EPIC
- CPR/BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ASN or BSN)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital setting; no time-off requests accepted (NO RTO)
