Busy Law Firm is seeking an experienced Attorney to join our team!
HYBRID!!!
Responsibilities
- Provide legal counsel on municipal and government law matters
- Handle cases involving land use, civil litigation, and workers’ compensation
- Research and apply New Jersey local and county government laws and procedures
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents
- Communicate effectively with clients, government officials, and stakeholders
- Manage multiple priorities and work independently under minimal supervision
- Utilize legal research tools and computer applications efficiently
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years of experience in public sector law
- Experience in municipal/government law, land use, civil litigation, and/or workers’ compensation
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license to practice law in New Jersey
- Strong knowledge of NJ local and county government law and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with relevant computer applications and legal research tools
