Global Tech Talent for Korea - Fast-Track Visa + Health Insurance

KOTRA has long served as a bridge between Korea and the global market. In response to the growing interest in Korean companies, KOTRA has launched a new program to attract global talent in advanced industries, particularly in the United States. The "K-Tech Pass" program connects global talent with promising companies in Korea. It offers opportunities in key fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Biotechnology, Healthcare, Quantum Computing, Aerospace, Energy & Green Tech (Batteries), Semiconductors, Advanced Materials, Next-Generation Networks, Cybersecurity/Blockchain, Smart Manufacturing/Robotics, and Neurotechnology. This program is open to the following individuals: Professionals with 5+ years of experience Bachelor’s degree holders with 1+ year of experience Master’s or PhD degree holders (For Korean nationals, a bachelor’s degree with at least one year of experience or a master’s/PhD is required.) Social Insurance Participants who gain employment through this program will receive health insurance and industrial accident compensation insurance. Korea's Public health insurance system provides high-quality medical services with relatively low personal costs. Public pension and employment insurance are available optionally, depending on your nationality and personal situation. Entry Support Top-tier talent who meet K-Tech Pass criteria may be eligible for fast-track residency visa (F-2) issuance. After three years, this can be converted into a permanent residency visa (F-5). The entire application process can be completed quickly online. The program also allows for accompanied entry by family members, parents, or domestic helpers. Priority Immigration Cards are issued to simplify immigration procedures. Settlement Support in Korea 50% income tax reduction for 10 years. Children of participants are eligible to enroll in international schools (admitted outside of regular quotas). Concierge services are provided for telecommunications, finance, and administrative matters.
