DayTimeWed08:00 AM - 04:00 PMThur08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entry points, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site protocols, while reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations.
- Support daily operations by preparing incident reports, maintaining post records, and following Allied Universal standards and location-specific instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
