As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Associate in New York, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a government healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work as part of a team, and act with integrity while helping create a welcoming environment.

- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, entrances, waiting areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and assist with directing foot traffic in a professional manner within a public sector healthcare location.
- Support Allied Universal and site personnel by communicating clearly, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
