Accounts Payable Clerk

Responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to Accounts Payable, including data entry, document processing, filing, scanning, record maintenance, and retrieval of company records and documents.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Assist Accounts Payable with basic data entry and clerical duties. Enter document information into spreadsheets, databases, and accounting systems. Make copies of invoices, checks, reports, correspondence, and other documents as requested. Sort documents by vendor, customer, date, invoice number, department, or other established categories. Scan documents and upload them into electronic document management systems. Sort and distribute incoming paperwork and mail. Organize and file documents accurately and in a timely manner. Retrieve files and documents as requested by employees or management. Track files and documents that have been removed from the filing area. Pull, organize, and prepare supporting documentation requested for audits. Assist Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Accounting with document organization and recordkeeping. Perform general administrative duties, including copying, scanning, printing, mailing, and preparing documents. Maintain the confidentiality and security of company financial records and other sensitive information. Perform other related duties as assigned. Administrative Support in an accounting department.
