Bring your passion for supporting diverse learners to a dynamic special education assignment near Manchester, TN! This position begins as soon as possible and continues through late May 2027, allowing you to make a lasting impact on students’ educational journeys. You will deliver both direct and indirect special education services to approximately 23 students, including one learning Braille, without case managing responsibilities. The focus is on providing high-quality, targeted instruction tailored to a range of student needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Tennessee Educator License issued through TNCompass (required)
• Acceptable license types: Practitioner License (initial 3-year standard or alternative/job-embedded pathway) or Professional License (standard 6-year advanced)
• At least one of the following TDOE Special Education endorsements:
  • Special Education Interventionist (K-8) for mild-to-moderate disabilities
  • Special Education Interventionist (6-12) for secondary mild-to-moderate disabilities
  • Special Education Comprehensive (K-12) for severe and multiple disabilities
  • Special Education Early Childhood (Pre-K-3) for early intervention
• Experience working directly with special education students; familiarity with Braille instruction is a plus
• Up-to-date resume and proof of licensure required

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect instructional minutes to students in alignment with IEP goals
• Collaborate with educational teams to support student learning outcomes
• Adapt and implement individualized instruction based on student needs
• Maintain documentation of services provided
