Senior Accountant POST NUMBER: 484914
$45 - $50 per hourWe are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing healthcare focused organization. This role will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records supporting the month end close process and helping strengthen accounting operations during a period of team restructuring. The initial focus will be on general ledger cleanup and preparing reclassification journal entries.

- Prepare and post journal entries
- Reconcile cash bank and credit card accounts
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations and investigate variances
- Support monthly quarterly and year end close activities
- Assist with financial statement preparation and internal reporting
- Support annual audits tax reporting and external advisor requests
- Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiencies
- Assist with accounting cleanup projects and reclassification entries as needed
- Senior level accounting experience with strong general ledger and reconciliation skills
- Healthcare industry experience
- QuickBooks experience preferred
