Quick Facts Location: Hancock, MI (500 Campus Drive) Start Date: 08/06/2026 Duration: Ongoing with potential for extension Shift: 12 PM – 10 PM (Onsite orientation required 1 day prior) Hours/Week: Approximately 40 hours/week Employment Type: Contract (W-2) License/Certs: Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license, BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS certifications preferred Experience: 1+ years in Emergency Medicine preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with all applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Travel and lodging support if needed What You’ll Do Provide emergency medical care to diverse patient populations of all ages Conduct assessments, diagnostics, and treatment planning in the emergency department Collaborate with ED physicians, RNs, and support staff to deliver quality care Document patient encounters accurately using Meditech EMR Participate in onsite orientation and adapt quickly to hospital protocols Help manage both inpatient and outpatient cases, with an average of 36 patients per day What You Need Current, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Michigan Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (NP or PA) Minimum 1 year of emergency medicine experience preferred Active BLS, ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications Ability to treat patients of all ages and handle fast-paced environment About the Assignment Join a top-tier healthcare facility in Hancock, MI, where you will be part of a team dedicated to providing exceptional emergency care in a well-equipped setting.
