The Learning Consultant Innovation partners with business leaders, subject matter experts, and project teams to understand what people need to perform at their bestturning those needs into impactful, creative, engaging learning solutions. Through thoughtful discovery and consultation, this role connects business goals with the right approach, whether that means digital learning, performance support, workflow guidance, job aids, facilitated experiences, or AI-enabled assistance. The consultant makes complex information easier to understand, builds trusted relationships across the bank, and can take an idea from an early conversation all the way through development and implementation.

This role brings learning to life through polished digital and multimedia experiences, including microlearning, simulations, branching scenarios, videos, animations, software demonstrations, and performance-support resources. Using strong visual storytelling, sound learning practices, and approved AI capabilities, the consultant brings fresh thinking to important work, helps the team deliver with greater speed and scale, and explores better ways to support people in the flow of work. The right candidate will be creative, curious, eager to explore new approaches, and able to maintain quality and momentum across multiple business priorities.

Role Responsibilities

Performance Consulting

Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify learning, capability, and performance needs.

Facilitate discovery conversations and needs analyses to clarify business goals, learner needs, root causes, constraints, and measures of success.

Recommend the most effective solution, which may include digital learning, performance support, workflow guidance, coaching, job aids, facilitated learning, or AI-enabled assistance.

Translate complex business processes and subject matter into clear, practical learning experiences.

Build trusted relationships across business functions and serve as a strategic learning advisor.

Digital Learning Experiences

Design and develop engaging digital learning experiences from concept through implementation.

Develop microlearning, simulations, branching scenarios, knowledge checks, application activities, and performance-support resources.

Leverage new ideas, creative approaches, and media/technology for forward-thinking learning.

Build custom solutions from scratch and efficiently adapt established templates when appropriate.

Apply adult learning principles, accessibility practices, and instructional design standards.

Manage multiple projects and respond effectively as business needs and priorities evolve.

Multimedia Production & Visual Storytelling

Create professional videos, software demonstrations, and screen-recording tutorials.

Develop animated and scenario-based content, including avatars and voice-over experiences.

Create storyboards, scripts, visual concepts, graphics, and multimedia components.

Use visual storytelling to simplify complex information and increase learner engagement.

Produce polished deliverables aligned with organizational brand and quality standards.

AI-Powered Learning Innovation

Use approved AI assistants to support ideation, analysis, scripting, storyboarding, media creation, prototyping, and development efficiency.

Explore emerging AI capabilities that may improve learning, performance support, practice, personalization, and access to knowledge.

Experiment responsibly with new approaches while applying organizational standards for accuracy, security, privacy, accessibility, and human review.

Identify opportunities to move beyond traditional course-based solutions toward performance-focused experiences.

Share lessons learned and help colleagues and business partners adopt effective AI-enabled practices.

Qualifications

Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in instructional design, learning, education, communications, digital media, or a related field is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.

Relevant certifications are a plus.

Minimum Experience

Three or more years of hands-on digital learning or multimedia development experience.

Track record of successfully delivering creative solutions for complex, business-critical work.

Financial services or regulated-industry experience preferred.

Work experience showing original thinking, strong design judgment, and polished work across formats.

Ability to ramp up quickly, manage a steady project pipeline, and deliver consistently strong work.

Proficiency with Storyline and Rise is expected; experience with Vyond, Camtasia, and Copilot is strongly preferred.

Workday Learning or comparable LMS experience preferred.

Physical Demands

Ability to communicate in person, on the phone, and through electronic channels

Ability to use a computer on a frequent basis, including typing and sustained attention to a monitor

Work Environment

This is a remote position. Remote positions require a secure and distraction-free setting, with a reliable internet connection (cable or fiber preferred, mobile hotspots not acceptable).

As company space permits, the role may also be considered for Hybrid or physical Company location if preferred.

Travel

Travel several times per year may be required for corporate meetings, team workshops, career development, site visits, acquisition/merger support.

Compensation & Benefits

$66,000.00 - $108,000.00 annually

Final offer amounts may depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, education, certifications and work location.
