CT/X-Ray Technologist

Schedule

19:00 - 07:00, varied 36-hour schedule with weekends and holiday rotation.

Job Description

Join a busy, high-acuity freestanding emergency room as a CT/X-Ray Technologist. In this role, you will operate GE Optima CT scanners and GE portable x-ray equipment, providing imaging services in a fast-paced environment. You will work independently, covering both CT and X-ray modalities, often as the sole staff member in these areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging procedures for a variety of patient conditions in accordance with protocols.
• Ensure high-quality patient care while maintaining efficient workflows.
• Document and manage imaging results using Meditech and Sectra systems.
• Maintain a friendly demeanor while communicating effectively with patients and staff.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.
• Current Virginia (VA) license or compact license at submission.
• Certifications: CPR, ARRT, ARRT-CT.
