Work Environment

As part of our outpatient office located in Henrietta, you will enjoy a collaborative and supportive working environment. Our facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation tools and technologies designed to aid in patient recovery. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, with hours ranging from 9 am to 5 pm or 8 am to 4 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations and comprehensive assessments to determine patients' physical conditions, articulating tailored treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Implement a diverse range of treatments, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation to optimize recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess and refine treatment protocols, ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care.
• Participate in the clinical instruction of interns and students, providing mentorship and guidance to develop the next generation of physical therapists.
• Engage in ongoing education by reviewing clinical protocols and adjusting treatments based on the latest research and best practices.
• With managerial support, explore and potentially initiate clinical research projects within your area of expertise to contribute to the advancement of physical therapy methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic pain conditions. You will develop individualized treatment plans to enhance their mobility, alleviate pain, and restore function, fostering a supportive and empathetic environment throughout their rehabilitation journey. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active physical therapy license in New York State.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Strong assessment and treatment skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is preferred but not required.
• A familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document patient progress efficiently.
• Prior experience in mentoring or supervising therapy interns and students.

Compensation and Benefits
